These pieces are created digitally from scratch (i.e. from mathematical formulas/parameters tweaked and adjusted by the artist) using fractal software such as Spangfract XTel and Oxidizer and sometimes including photographs by the artist. Multiple images may be combined into one using Photoshop, and other enhancements are made.
The end result is printed only once, on aluminum, as directed by the artist. Lianne’s printer of choice for this is Posterjack, a Canadian company in Toronto, Ontario.
